Our humble service to the motherland ! – 25 April 2009 – Sunday, 10 May 2009

SPUR NZ held their first Annual General Meeting on 25 April 2009 and a new committee
has been appointed. Six new members joined the committee. SPUR NZ President submitted the first annual report to the members present. It was decided to present that report to the Sri Lankan community in New Zealand as a News Letter on the SPUR NZ activities. If the Sri Lankan community accepts that we have done something worthwhile during this period we will be extremely happy. We try our best to serve the Sri Lankan community with more enthusiasm in the coming year. We use this opportunity to thank our colleagues in the previous committee who decided to give up their places for new members. Their contribution during the last year would be highly appreciated.
